Racism in the land of the free?

Question

Why does it seem like SOME White people hate wealthy African American people more than poor African American people? What is that about? Are you a white person, that hates all African American people, if so, why? Would there be anything an African American could do to change your perception of the race? (besides, going back to Africa-we've heard that SO-many times and we're not going back ok?)

I don't understand any of it. I am of the Caucasian Persuasion. But I am also a man, a heterosexual, an ex-military, a retired teacher, but I am not refered to by any of those. I am afraid the racism is on both sides. Why is it that we cannot stop labeling? i don't know. I guess if all things were equal people who had large ears would hate those who have small ears. It is a bad human condition. I will not validate it by participating. Probably best if you don't either.

Most Haters Just Hate Because They See Themselves As Failing.. I Think That Is The Main Reason. Do I Hate African Americans? Do I Hate Krackers? Hell Yeah I Do. Because Their Are Ignorant Asses In Each Race. For Instance Look At Rev. Sharpton.. He Is All Over The Bell Murder. Those Police Killed An Innocent man and wounded others. I find that situation very ironic. some white people dislike/hate wealthy blacks but it's there system and values and organizations that made them rich. they are just jealous that they lack the talents or skills to benefit from our capitalist society...

ilovefriedchickenwaffle is a perfect example...probably didn't even graduate from community college and has a crappy job. he will never be rich he's to consumed with his hate and many other shortcomings.

personally I would rather not waste my life and energy on hating people of any race or religion.

I'm to busy trying to outsmart the IRS...lol

People dislike people for alot of reasons. My advice is that is their choice and their problem if it is a not nice reason to like someone. The best to do is just concentrate about yourself I also went by how can this thought improve your life is it that important to concern your time thinking about. I hope everyone can be successful but success is not always materialistic. I would rather be poor yet have a brain that could think logically and not instill jealous tendencies. Which is hard to do but sometimes you have to do it for your own sake.

I am very white and sometimes I have more respect for Blacks, Hispanics, Asians and all the others than I do for my own race.

This Bush adminstration and just so many stupid white men and women I face everyday in where I live (the suburbs) just make me lose more and more respect for my own race everyday.

I am a strong democrat, and can't even imagine being racist in a negative way, I hate it.

All of America is littered with racism and racial hatred. Its sick and dumb and needs to be eradicated like small pox.

YES some hate to see blacks get ahead, yes some blacks love to see whites go bankrupt, yes some Latinos love to see Asians forclose on homes...its sooooo sick and twisted and should be called out when you see it.

nobody hates them because they are either rich or poor people hate them because of the way they play the race cards, act like monkeys in public; destroy cities, apartments, malls, schools, always need funding for their inner city schools(bunch of morons can't compete with other schools so they want more money), katrina incident, etc..........

and yes we did bring you people here. the only reason why most of you stay here because you crave the white man's achievements. you know damn well most of you negroids would go back to africa is if was livable, however, people in africa are the same as those in america-worthless, and nobody wants to live in africa.

i think its funny when they say that. they BROUGHT us here. not all whites hate blacks (i hate thoese terms). and contrary to popular belief not all blacks hate whites.
