Just keep telling her she's beautiful. It's a hellish age, and every other 11 year old girl feels exactly the same way. Hang in there for the next 7 years!

Oh boy, I remember when I was 11. It's low self-esteem problems. Ask her why she thinks that. It could be other people at her school or how she views as beautiful. Remember, 11 is not a very great age because you are a child entering adulthood. Tell her that it really doesn't matter how you look and that it's who you are that counts the most.

she maybe going through an awkward faze in her life. you could try doing a day of beauty for both of you and finding cloths that will fit her properly and comfortably so she looks better and in turn makes her feel better. also try to always remind her that she is beautiful but that is not all that women are. let her know that a good mind and strong heart and body is also very important and that she will grow into herself as she ages. i have a 10 yr old that sometimes feels the same way and when she gets down like that i make a day for her and i to bond and show her that she is wonderful and beautiful and smart. good luck with your daughter and happy new year=)

At That age in 5th 6th grade she will pro bally everything about her is bad.She was too ugly she was too fat she was too dumb. When i was a 11 year old i was cute but i thought i was fat. So when i got my period 5 months later i became super skinny and noticed it was all baby fat like right now kind of so what i am trying to say tell her that no she is very pretty and that didt think about that and tell her wait and see in till you are older and you will look like a Victoria Secret Model.

First off I know the first thing you might do is tell her the opposite. Constantly telling her that is good but if she continues to believe she physically unatrractive then i would try reverse role playing. Act as if your a child her age that might tease her tell her to act the same way then find someone who has a lot of confidence in themselves an have them act without that confidence and explain to her that's how she acts . tell her that she's the only one who believe in her at the end what others say dosent matter.

First tell her she is not ugly and find out if somebody at school is telling her that, and why she thinks she is ugly. Make her feel good about herself, have a mother and daughter day get your hair and nails done and go out for lunch.

Just keep telling her how beautiful she is. I always try to drop little compliments to my 11 yr. old , everyday so she will know how pretty she really is. I also try to take her to get pampered every now and again , so she can feel pretty.

just remind her that shes not. take her out and buy her some new clothes, or jewlery, or get her hair done. shes 11, every girl does go through that stage, but i think most go through it at 15/16. im sure its just a stage and she'll soon grow out of it, but it will be back. good luck!

dont listen to the guy who said "find her an ugly friend."
tell her she is gorgeous and beautiful. Tell her she should always know that she is beautiful NO MATTER WHAT! And she'll feel really good about herself!

You just need to tell her all of the good things about her. If she has a good voice, in example, tell her that it is good and keep complimenting it. Just keep noticing her good qualities, and leting her know and keep noticing them. Soon she will stop calling herself ugly, and showing of her good qualities, singing in my example.
