It's very nicely done. I think they spent too much time trying to coax humor out of some of the animals (the crows, for instance), but the essential story is intact, and, without having to look at her homely mug, I actually ENJOYED Julia Roberts' performance as Charlotte.

I took a seven year old who had a hard time sitting still to watch the whole movie but I thought it was really cute....

oh ya, i saw the original version when i was a child. it was great then. the newer version is good also.
