Well think about this one!
I took an empty champagne bottle that he and I had drank together on one of our visits and took off the paper label around the neck (soak it in water and it will peal right off). Then I took it too a glass cutter. I had him cut the bottle at the neck, right where the paper wrap would be. I then filled it with little trinkets and memories from us - movie & sport ticket stubs, pictures, Hershey Kisses, romantic fortunes from fortune cookies, flower petals, the "key to my heart", all the reasons why I love him written out on slips of paper, little things like that. I filled the bottle with all those things and then glued it back together with silicone glue and super glued the paper wrapper back over the place where it had been cut. It looked brand new; you couldn't tell it had ever been cut. Then I mailed it to him and told him that he had to wait to break it open with me until the next time we were together. He loved it! We broke it open together the next time I saw him, he couldn't wait! u could give this to him as ur valentines gift...and u could add (if u have collected) the movie tickets, park tickets, dining bills.etc

Optional
Well a rose and a letter(Letter could include something different like...how u will both be in 10years time!u have to imagine and write)..but do it deifferently....
Make an aged bottle...
did this for my boyfriend and I's 1st anniversary, He loved it. OK, I got a big glass bottle with a cork on top. You glue sand on the out side, make sure that it looks like the bottle has been laying on the sand for a very long time. and glue shells, sea weed etc. Then some how get some one to draw you. (make sure you like) Then write a nice letter about how you two got together and how you feel now. Then roll the papers up and place then in the bottle. Oh an extra tip.. drop some perfume on the cork. Enjoy!

and final.....
For Valentine's Day, I really wanted to do something amazing for my boyfriend. I cut out 100 construction paper hearts, and I wrote I love you in 100 different languages on one side of each and a reason why I love him on the other side. I stringed these around and across his room with fishing wire so that they looked like they were floating.HE LOVED IT....
Guys love it when ur creative and u take time and do it for them!

Okies...hope it helped...sorry friend,my fingers hurt!
Best of luck!! Just run ur imagination and do it with time and heart

you could together cook a wonderful meal, something that you both really enjoy, or something that reminds you of past occasions like a first date or anniversary and then set out a blanket in front of either a fire place if you have one, or a spot in your house that seems appropriate and enjoy the date. another cute thing you could do is on little slips of paper write down why you love him so much and then put them into red, pink, white, or silver (or all of the above) blown up balloons. you can hide them all over your house and he will have to pop each one to get the message inside. (you could also place other types of messages in there as well.....)

Red and white candles grouped together at the table, coffee tables, end tables and bathroom counter. Get those white paper doilies and cut out construction paper hearts, glue the hearts on the doilies and tape them to the windows & mirrors throughout your house. Use red and white towels in the bathrooms. Put up photos of you and your loved one in the living room. Make a batch of heart shaped sugar cookies to have on hand when guests arrive (use other shapes too)!

Both of you should sell roses to couples on Valentine's Day. Both of you will see happy couples appreciating this service. On top of that, both of you will be richer and should plan to use the money to upgrade your home and other relevant things.

Long scavenger hunt that ends with a blanket and bubbly in an unusual spot.

Not very romantic if others have to think of it for you.

Stay home and bless the house... the WHOLE house. And maybe the backyard and garage too! Though you may have done that already.
