A law is a rule. A tax is something you pay for public services.

The only legal taxes in this country, on both the state and federal level, according to our constitution, are excises, sales or value added taxes. What is being presented to the public today as tax law is in fact tax policy under color of law. Our Supreme Court has denied the legality of this on numerous occasions, but the government controlled media refuses to report or even acknowledge this proven subterfuge...

nothing, they are the same. Taxes are part of the government code.

A government code is the laws that are on the books and are enforced.

You break a law, you get punished. You do not follow the TAX LAW, you get punished. Ask Al Capone.

Basically laws are a set of official rules laid down to be used to guide the living and lifestyle of people in a certain community.

Taxes are dues(money) payed by eligible citizens of a society to be used to upgrade the living style of the society and they are usually collected by the government.

Laws you have to abide by or you pay the consequences (fines, jail, probation, prison, community service, etc...) Taxes you have to pay whether you are a law abiding citizen or a criminal.

laws = rules adopted by the government of a country that have to be followed to prevent harm to yourself or others, and govern different aspects of our lives

taxes = sums imposed on people or property by the government of a country that pay for services offered by the government e.g. refuse collection
