its like if you good looking you have it good in life becuase people are nicer to you you'll always get the girls and the jobs... you basically set anyone agree?

Actually I think I have average looks but sometimes it sucks because you never know if people like you for who you are or if they have ulterior motives. This is a problem with friends, jobs, relationships so the saying goes....the grass isn't always greener on the other side.

It is unfortunate that initial impressions are pretty much based on superficial impressions. For faces, there is a proportion that is supposed to be more attractive to all people, and I think that Michelle Phieffer, Brad Pitt and Cindy Crawford have facial proportions that closely match the standards. I found the standard I was looking for called the "Marquandt Beauty Analysis". It seems like it really tracks back to an observer's assessment of health of the observed subject - a well proportioned face (or body) is "healthy".
At least for me, this may be an initial attaction, but there has to be brains, wit, kindness and humor.
For possible jobs, sometimes it doesn't matter what you look like as long as you have the personality and skills that are needed.
It sounds like you've been discouraged with this assessment - try not to get that way. The more serious people in the world dismiss looks (or should) as not very important, and value personality much more. Hope this helps.

Yes thats true. Am studying Frankenstein and this is one of the themes in it. The monster is wretched looking society instantly condemns him.
This is life. Its twice as harder being a girl trust me. I am constantly being compared to my friends to 'find the prettiest'. I hate it. I really dont care who is the prettiest but people make me think these things that were never in my head before ..... so i start thinking if i am better looking. Sorry to get off topic just having a rant.
Yeah the world sucks basicly.

that is the way life works but every problem has a solution and there is also one for u. is there something in particular why you feel about this, talk to someone you trust and get it off u. it does help
