my husband did it for fun until i actually fell in and nearly killed him!!!! i swear to god he laughed so hard he could hardly breathe. the point is, if girls liked it, it wouldnt be funny. thats how he explained it to me, and after i was done screaming, it kind of made sense. so now, i just keep my eyes open. he also told me - in a very casual way- it wouldnt kill you to put it down your self, its easier than getting me to do it.

So women can fall in the toilet at night when they go pee.LOL.Just kidding, I think they do that because there just thinking of them self at the time and figure the next time I come back to the bathroom the seat will be up and ready to go.Plus if I was a guy I wouldn't want to touch the toilet seat all the time then touch my private area.I don't rally think they do it to make us mad, there just not aware of it all the time.Maybe sometimes there in a rush and don't think about it.Plus I guess they figure if they can lift it up we can put it down.Kinda evens things out.By the way I'm a girl.

I found a solution to that issue..just have the guys use the sink to urinate into..you see its an ideal urinal..it is at the right height and when the guy is done just wash up and his hands at the same time..and if you have a mirror you can what your self go..its kinda of cool..I started using the sink at work so now the girls don't complain about the seat being up..just use the sink and end the debate..good luck..

Show me where it's written that men have to put the seat up instead of women putting it down, and I'll start. Until then, live with it. If this is the worst thing that happens to you today, then you've gotten off very lucky.

Well, why don't women put the seat up for men when they are done? That's how men would like it.
Simple, because we don't care. It's a trivial matter.
Men don't put the seat down either because they forget or they don't care.

why do women expect a guy to put the seat down for them when a women doesn't put the seat up for a man. its because they are to lazy to look to see if its down before they sit down and they fall in. i mean come on ladies you want a man to reach down pull the seat up then put the seat down just so you want fall in. well then open your eyes before you squat

You should pick you battles. Just put it down when you go to the bathroom. Its not that hard and not a lot of work.
As long as you keep your bathroom clean, its no big deal. Or you can ask while company is over ask him to put it down. When there not Why should he.

I've got that same problem at my home. I am always asking the women of the house please put the toliet seat up when your finished.
