I just saw a demo of speech recognition software that was outstanding. I had a vendor in at work this week and he was demo'ing there latest software and it was the best I have seen to date. It was able to keep up with normal speech patterns, not having to speak in a slow monotone voice, and you want to talk about accurate! I work in IT at a law firm and I know the secretaries would not be thrilled if we purchased this software. It integrated with all of out apps, and we have over 300 of them.

i don't know about holographic display but Microsoft has invented a prototype that allows people to type just by thinking. Its a glove that you put on your hand and together with with your brain and hand movements you can SLOWLY type. Its slow cause its a prototype they are trying to improve it

the government has one I'm sure of this, when they release it to civilians I'm not sure but the way things are going it may be soon.
