Old enough to ask a concise question, to use the "Check Spelling" tool, and to be able to respect the answers received. That would be a different age for many people.

I have a 12 year old son and definitely would not want him on here because there are too many questionable questions and answers. This site would provide too much information and too many wrong answers for an impressionable kid.
