I often answer questions in the men's health section. I see a lot of questions that say: "How can I make my penis longer". Why would people want it longer?

porn movies, and society in general, have brainwashed people into thinking that penises have to be large. it's sad..

in fact, most women don't like large penises.. they can make sex painful.

if you have a small one, be happy with it.. as long as you are happy and healty, that's all that really matters..

I found that an inter sting point to and when I asked politely somebody found the question offensive. Offensive - it is just plain truth! Open the page and all you read are tips on Viagra and making their penis grow... Makes you kind of worried about the state of our educational system, (no sex education at school? No open and sincere talks between boy and their parents?). LIttle precise anatomical information but heads full of abstruse pornographic images. Sad.
Felllows, there is a life after penis size!

I find it totally weird that a man would actually MEASURE his penis! I think it's mostly the very youing boys who are going through the insecurities of puberty that do this. If I ever found my husband with a ruler down there I would send him out for a mental evaluation! I've never heard of a man who was actually too small to make his woman happy. Not one!

Because they hear all of these people saying "is my 9" long penis too long?" and the like.

The average erect size of a men's penis is 4" to 6"...but, they don't want to believe this, and anyone that states this textbook fact is usually flamed with remarks like "you must be small, huh?"...and I'm not even a man...I'm a woman who has a well endowed man...and trust me...I wouldn't care if his penis was smaller or not...I love him, NOT his penis.

Because the men feel inadequate. If you have ever paid attention to men talking they always lie about their size and other guys believe him...so...they want what he has. Also, men feel that with a bigger penis they will be able to satisfy a woman better. Which isn't always true.

Don't know, I guess the same reason many women want big breast. It seems more attractive and you just get more stares. If women and men(gay) want an orgasm, they should know it isn't so that the size makes it happen, it's how you work with your partner's turn ons, like which body parts gets them aroused. Then afterwards, intercourse comes a lot easier and you are more likely to get an orgasm.

some men are not born with a real penis, Some men have penis' that are under 5 inches and women laugh at them. So they go and try to buy products to change how god made them. But they do not work, they are creams and pills that will just make you pee more.

the big penis theory its a common misconception. every wants to "knock the bottom out of it". highly unlikely anything that can drop something 8 lbs 12oz we will never be able to compete with.
my best advice for anyone that thinks they need larger "junk". lol should be happy with they got to begin with. there is a point where one can cause pain. this is bad. so just accept what you got. if its small tell the Ladies its smaller. example hey baby I've got 5in of sex machine that way when you pull out 6 everyone is happy

Guys think that the longer it is, the more satisfying. Truth of the matter is, for some women, it is a bit painful if it reaches the cervix. I think they should consider more of growing the girth =]

I think its an inherent insecurity which prompts certain men to ask this question.

It ain't the size of the prize, but the heat of the meat.
