I have a lot of friends that ask me this question. I know what my answer is but I am just wondering what other people think about it? Do you think having sex with someone is worse then telling someone else other then the one you are with that you love them?

Emotional cheating is subjective. I for one wouldn't have a problem with my wife/girl friend having a close friendship with another guy as long as she was always coming home to me at the end of the day. That doesn't mean I wouldn't feel a little jealous or insecure. But when you get right down to it, what is the difference between a close friendship and love when you take away the physical aspect.

No. I think that once the emotions are involved it's much worse that simple physical action with no emotional attachment. But ANY kind of outside relationship not involving your current romantic partner, that you would not want them to find out about whether it be physical, emotional or even online is cheating which is wrong.

I think that sex is worse. Look at it this way, if you just tell someone else that u love them, your mind can be changed later on in the future. Basically, u can tack the statement back. But if you do it with someone else, it is more pain 4 the other person when he or she finds out. Plus, Sex is something that once it happens, it is something that u cannot undo. So basically, sex is worse.

Cheating is cheating. I think it is horrible if your significant other choses to flirt with someone else and share hopes and dreams and thoughts with them. Couples have hard enough time comunicating without a third person draining emotional energy away from the SO. Both avenues disrespect the relationship and sap energy from the partnership.

People should avoid situations like this. Keep co-worker relationships professional. If you are attracted to co-workers or other attached persons, do not eat lunches with them, do not chit-chat, happy hour etc. People should avoid temptations and be true to spouses.

The emotional is a lot worse. I know this answer at least from my point of view thru experience. It hurts a lot more when you find out that your man has fell in love with another woman than it does to find out he just has sex with someone. Neither one is fun to go thru but I think it's easier to deal with just a sexual fling. It doesn't seem as much of a threat~

In some ways emotional cheating is worse because you can have sex and not have feelings for the other person, but if you do have emotions for someone other than your spouse...... even if you don't act on it, it's pretty demeaning to your spouse. They are both betrayals but emotional cheating is somewhat, but not much, worse.

Dishonesty is a slippery slope that gets steeper as we descend. It seems worse when there is physical evidence like an action we can't take back but worse than what? If someone else is hamed by our lying then it is wrong and will only bring misery to everyone

ABSOLUTELY!!!!!!!!
Cheating on someone emotionally is terrible and it does hurt the person your with,BUT,,,, you can't get an STD because your "significant other" told someone else that they LOVE them.
I could move on after finding out that the person I love is in love with someone else but if the love of my life brought me an STD, especially one that cannot be cured than I would have no chance of getting over that. That would be a death sentence.
I HOPE YOU ANSWER TO THIS QUESTION WAS ALSO YES!!

I think that physical is worse because the thought of him touching someone else in that way else would make me sick. Emotional would really hurt too but physical would REALLY hurt to me!

I think physically cheating makes you angry but not as hurt as emotionally cheating. I just went through that with my ex Fiance he told lots of other women he loved them and the more I found out about the more my heart broke. it makes you feel worthless
