25 years ago in high school a hypnotist came and hypnotized a few of my classmates. 2 & 1/2 decades later I find out one of them is now gay. Is the hypnotist responsible?

Hypnotism can surely make you act/behave like gays while being hypnotized, but once you are awakened, it will have zero effect on you. You wouldn't even remember what you were going through and / or how & what you were doing.

Oh PLEEAAZEEE... ROFL!
why would you even think of that? This has to be the 2nd funniest posting I have seen on here yet!
If you are a troll, congrats! LOVE the idea... if you are serious, well, I am so sorry for you. Your friend is gay because he is attracted to men. Always has been, always will be. He is still the same man as he was before, he's just, well, gay and open and comfortable with himself.
Stop blaming the hypnotist and looking for excuses. Free your mind while you are at it!
Blessings, dd

The hypnotist is only responsible if he hypnotized ***you*** and gave you the suggestion that he's responsible. Did that happen to you?

Did the hypnotist tell him, "You are gay... You are attracted to men?"
If not, then probably not.

I personally don't believe in hypnotism, but being gay is a choice.
Hypnotism may or may nt be the cause, but most likely your friend is just gay, hypnotism had nothing to do with it!

no, it is not possible for hypnotism to turn a person gay.. when a person is under hypnosis, they STILL will NOT do anything that is against their inner instinct. like they would not hurt someone or themselves even if they were told to, if it was against their inner instinct.

No. Hypnotism cannot make you do something that is against your core beliefs.

no, no one can be hypnotised to be or do anything they wouldn't have done before.

being gay isn't a choice or a byproduct of hypnosis.

Maybe not permanantly, but it might bring out some tendencies... better not risk it.

Nothing can "turn" you gay.
