ok, i have a book report that needs to be done, u have to know setting, and summary and stuff but what does the plot mean? my brain forgot over break lol HELP PLZ

Plot is what actually HAPPENED in the story.

the plot? that is the simplest part ... its jsut a summary of what takes place

i suggest u start off with the plot but dont waste too much time on it so that u ll have time to talk about
setting,
technique,
litterary techniques,
social setting if applicable,
evolvement of characters,
role of nature in book if applicable,
role of women if applicable

list goes on .....
i suggest u look reviews of the book on the interent if ur completely lost

That's, like, the easiest part! especially cause it's so easy to use it to lengthen your paper! it's just everything that happens in the story. All the events and stuff.

the plot is basically the point of the story. what element is used to make this a story? that's called the plot.

the plot is the main story line or scheme of the novel ,play etc
it should be intereting and intricate involving conspiracies,secretshidden plans etc.
