Casually. Approach him kind of how you would anyone you know, but not too well. You know his name and a little about him, but you don't really KNOW him.

In my line of work, I've met quite a few, most of them are pretty cool and approachable. If they're an average player and you know something about them, college they attended or stats, that is the easiest way to get into their good graces. Feed the ego.

All the Saints are good peeps in my opinion. So I say, just act like a normal person, and not a complete fan. Don't sprout random stats about him, because I'm sure he knows his own stats. Just be you, try not to come off as complete a spaz, and be cool. He's just a dude, treat him like you would anyone else.

Be very cautious. Approach slowly. Use a crouched position. Offer treats and don't show any fear. Call the player by name and act like this isn't your first time in this situation.

treat him like a regular person (which he is) yet be respectful. i once had the oppurtunity to meet marcus allen. it was only a coincidence that we were at a wedding reception in a vegas hotel. he was attending a charity even across the hall with other celebrities. once one guy spotted him, word spread and next thing you know, every male was outside staring at him (they were raiders fans to make it worse). Long story short, one of the wedding guests pissed him off because they kept asking him for an autograph while he was talking on his cell phone. The wedding guest was being rude and Marcus Allen had a right to be short with him. So just use normal manners and ettiquette that you would use with any stranger. good luck.

depends on your age
1-13 you can shriek lie a girl if you want, nobody faults you.
14-20 tell him how much you admire him
21+ smile, put your hand by your chin, waive you fingers, say in high pitched voice: hiiii, marques!

Like a normal person. Don't fawn over him, don't treat him like a god, and don't disrespect him.

And don't ask him dumb questions.

don't call them by their first name or a nickname, call him Mr. Colston and also don't try to be amazed by being in his presence, treat him like a new acquaintance.
