well pretty much most things you do in london is unique to london, its a great place to be, the river thames has a great boat trip, big ben is beautiful along with the tower of london and tower bridge, its just ooozzzing with history, you know when you go to tower bridge look at the towers, and guess what when it was first built they used to put prisioners in little rooms inside the tower and just brick up the opening, so in fact there are still dead bodies (well the remains of them) still in the towers... covent garden is a cool place to be along with camden... if you go to a place called Warwick Avenue (if you take the tube its on the bakerloo line thats the brown colour line) go there and walk up to the canal you can take a boat trip up the canal to camden its a beautiful trip to take, the name of the boat trip is "Jason's Trip" its really good.... well i can go on and on and on about london, i grew up there and i now live in malaysia and i really miss london, but trust me you will have agreat time there.... enjoy

There easily is, 2 weeks in the past for instance, Scotland change into the centre of the country and of the global, because it voted in its independence referendum. Liverpool and Manchester also get their justifiable percentage of the limelight too. yet London is the most important city by quite some way, with global type each little thing. it truly is likewise the position the information and media shops have the headquarters, so information has a tendency to be very London-centric, and it truly is the reason it style of feels that London is the really position contained in the country.

In London, go buy some beers at the Tesco across from Big Ben. Walk down to the London Eye and sit on the green adjacent to the Eye. A great romantic spot to enjoy some cheap drinks and a great view!

I've been to London, and the first thing I did was take a bus tour. It was the hop-on/ hop-off type. We got an overview of the city saw all the major sights, and when we got to a place we wanted to explore, we were able to do that.

My favorites:
Changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace
The Tower of London (Crown Jewels are kept here)
Cruise on the River Thames
Sightseeing around Notting Hill/ Kensington
Harrod's Department Store

Also very useful and easy to use is the subway system.

I went to London last year for the first time and my cousin took me to Camden Markets. Its absolutely fantastic. A kind of punky-hippy market that sells just about everything. If that's not an every-day thing for you, then go, its a real eye-opener.
And the best thing would have to be the food, whatever you can imagine, they have it.

Dont miss it!!
