I put hundereds of albums on my Ipod, and then when the ipod was uninstalled, I deleted them all to make room on my computer memory, but when I attached my ipod back on to install a new batch of albums the others were lost. There must be a way of installing them peremnatly on it without having to keep the music on my computer too, please help, id be very greatful

When you plug the Ipod into the computer, go into the itunes preferences and under the Ipod settings turn OFF the automatic syncro settings, that way it will stop screwing around with your machine.

if ur ipod is not plugged into the computer all your songs will stay on your ipod but if it is pluged up i dont think it will delete out of the ipod but better safe than sry unplug ur ipod

You could sync your ipod to just recently added trtacks, so that all the other ones are not affected by what happens on your pc.

There is a program called "copypod" it copies music off your ipod for you. You can google copy pod and learn more about it.

dont have ur ipod hooked up to the computer when u delete ur songs
