You can not park on a motorway you use the hard shoulder if you break down and then you should leave the car and go up the verge/bank safe place and wait for help

Only in the Services area. there is no stopping on a motorway, unless you break down,in which case you have to stop on the hard shoulder.

not at all unless you have broken down, and then you must try and get to the hard shoulder, get out of the car and stand clear until assistance arrives. The only legal and safe parking on a motor way is at the rest areas

HARD SHOULDER
Har Shoulder but only for a emergancy. You can just park it there for no reason and can only walk off to go to the telephone to call someone E.G - AA or RAC
