I agree with the others about practice, but as the late Cal Ripken Sr once said "PERFECT practice makes perfect" don't just practice to go thru the motions....

If you have flaws in your skills you will only make them worse by sontinuing to practice batting or fielding w those flaws. Seek advice from a player more skilled than you.

You may be able to find some websites offering coaching tips.

Contact the coach at your local high school or college. Most of them would be willing to spend a few minutes helping/advicing you, or could recommend someone else who has the time to work with you. Baseball is the greatest sport ever created.....Good Luck to you!!

With the constraint of a few weeks what I would do is:
I would work mostly on hitting probably about 50% of the time. I would try and build up arm strenght by long tossing 4 or 5 days a week. Last I would work on defensive fundamentals the remainder of my time. Try to improve in every area every day. That would be my best advice.

The best way to improve would be to focus. Try to watch better players living near you play and learn from them. Be a sponge; soak it all in. Try to watch more baseball. Encourage another person or people to help you. Practice yourself (especially watching yourself swing and throw in the mirror.)

This has definitely worked for me and I have given this advice to other people before.

Have someone pitch plastic practice golf balls to you for batting practice for the first week, then with a black magic marker put a number on each ball and call out the number be for you swing at it for the second. For fielding, learn to juggle.

Practice, practice, practice and work out. Work out with players with higher talent than you to push yourself.
