No but I have 2 friends like that. It annoys me. They are both in their 30's and turn into kids when its their b-day. I'm like what the hell is the big deal ??

Heck Yeah!!!!! Growing up,my mom didnt really make a big deal out of my Bday(the baby of 7 kids),so I always make a big deal out of my kids and MINE!!! We all deserve a happy day!!!

I find the idea of getting older repulsive so no.
I have given in to the odd party but much prefer to have quiet special time with the one i love.

In some countries, the birthday haver is the one who treats. I like that idea because it bugs me when somebody wants overly-special attention on their birthday.

Not really. I like to have a small family party or dinner out with my husband and kids, and maybe cards or a small gift, but that's about it.
