I have recently starting dating a boy. He is a HUGE fan of classic rock, especially KISS. I don't particularly like this type of music, but I want to talk about this stuff with him. One thing that I am very curious about---What do the letters in KISS stand for?

I saw a few interviews and also read a few articles on how KISS came up with their name, Peter Chris used to belong in a band called Lips and suggested it for the bands name. Joking around, Ace Frehley said "How about KISS" and every one loved it. Frehley also designed the logo, he is a white supremacist which no one knew at that time. That is where the lighting bolt S's come from. When Simmons And Stanley found out, they left it as there logo because KISS was already known for it

they dont stand for anything. Although many people who are not fans have tried to put acronyms with the letters the letters have no significant meaning.
