It's the same with the weather - glorious sunshine all week, when you're stuck in an office, then come the weekend, it's chucking it down. It's called "Sod's Law".

It really annoys me. I think it's because your body is used to waking up at a certain time, so you naturally start to wake up at the same time... your minds awake, but certainly don't want to be! Tip: don't set your alarm on your day off, might help you stay asleep for a little bit longer!

Maybe you feel extremely tired when you have to wake up early because you HAVE to wake up early. It's no choice. I don't like being told what to do and I think that's why we do it. It may also be because you're stressing out about the following day, waking up early and all, not knowing what to expect, rather than when you have nothing to worry about and you ar well rested.

it's called a freedom response. Tuesday and Wednesday are the longest days of the week whereas Saturday and especially Sunday are the shortest. Same principle.
Funily enough...when you're self employed, which I am, you don't really get that feeling anymore.

This is a common problem especially if one is not work motivated and has other pleasant alternatives.

Sorry to hear that happens to you. It never happens to me. I wish it would though! I'd get loads of stuff done at home.
