She needs to go see a ob/gyn and find out if it is just an outside the vaginal area tear or if there was internal vaginal damage. Don't play with this there are serious infections that can happen..

it will take time to get used to sex, and the vagina will always heal itself, unless you put like a television up there! No worries mate, time will heal all wounds! Also, got to the doctor if it persists for over a few days. How big was he?
