Ok, I am really stupid when it comes to game systems. I just bought a 360 for my boyfriend for his Birthday. The question I have is are the regular xbox games compatable? I bought him 2, 360 games, but the regualar ones seem to be so much cheaper, I could buy him alot more of the regular ones.

Some of the regular XBox games are compatible. Look up in the right hand corner of the boxes it will tell you.

First of all, you have to have got him the premium version with the harddrive(400$), for it to be able to play xbox original games. Secondly, only some regular xbox games can be played on it. Heres a list of the compatible games. http://www.xbox.com/en-US/games/backwardcompatibilitygameslist.htm. I would get him Halo and Halo 2 if i were you.

it will only play certain games in which are listed on the xbox.com web site, but i would stick with the new game anyways, if he wanted to play regular xbox then thats what i would have gotten him
