Both. there are days that I will look in the mirror and say, oh I'm not that bad. Then there are days I will look and I will be totally disgusted in myself and I will ask my self how anyone would want to be with me. He tell me I'm beautiful, so I guess that's all that needs to matter. Good question! :)

While I was growing up, my father would tell me I was a "handsome woman." I really didn't like that--I really wanted to be pretty--but now I understand what he meant.
I'm not pretty, but attractive with a strong presence. And that long outlasts the transience of being pretty.

I think I am pretty. If I don't tell myself that I am who I am, and there is nothing I should change, then I am afraid I might believe all the media and their "perfect image" and get depressed and talk myself into plastic surgery.
I am afraid to change my looks in all honesty, even if it were for the better. So I will always strive to look and feel better in the most natural way...

I really like certain aspects of myself. I love my blue eyes, and even the random freckles and birthmarks that I have. I do not like going to a store and not finding my size, or not finding shirts that fit over my chest. (larger breasts are not always a blessing)
I also rarely feel pretty because people rarely tell me I look pretty.
I accept my body and looks most of the time.

i think im averags looking not horrific sometimes i look in the mirrior and think gross but sometimes im like wow i avoid mirriors though it makes me depressed and people compliment me all the time on my blonde hair and blue eyes and say im barbie looking that just goes to show someone may be beautifull to smoe people but ugly to some people

i think i am ugly becouse i don have a bf and boys hate me for some reson and i feel like i am fat and very ugly and not worth the time of day for sum reson i blame it on my self esteem
