I don't know what my past lives were but my children talk about theirs all the time. My 2 year old speaks of his death defending his mother from an intruder with a musket. He can even show you how to load it. He has a scar type mark on his chest that he's always had. He says it's where the bad guy got him. When my 7 year old was three he asked if I remembered a long time ago when he was a girl. He said he used to help me on my farm.

I have had many lives. I have believed in past lives from the moment I heard of the concept when I was a small child, I knew it to be true. My last major lifetime was in Victorian England, I remember many of the details, I have flashbacks and memories of that time. Strangely, I know the names of my children from that time but I do not remember my own. I know the house I lived in, what my father did for a living, my interests and some activities. I also had lifetimes during the American Civil War, Colonial period, several lives in Central and South America, British Isles, France, India, the Middle East and Egypt.

I believe I have had Many. As a kid I had strong connections to Egyptian culture and American Civil War as a soldier. I used to say all the time I should have been born in San Diego which has me to believe I died as a young child there or decided to not to be born and never got to live that life.

For the guy that doesn't believe: the idea is to forget when we are born into new lives so that we may concentrate on what we are here to experience in this life. Only when is it to our benifit are we able to remember.

In my last life, I was a kamikaze pilot in WWII. I died in September 1946. At first I was horrified at the idea, especially since my grandfather was in WWII and his ship was sunk by a kamikaze fighter. I then read a book by a kamikaze pilot who survived his plane crash who shared step by step the emotions he went through. It was probably the most heart wrenching thing I've ever read, but there's alot of honor behind it as well. It all connects though because I've always been drawn to the orient, even when I was young...I was and still am fascinated by their culture, ideas, and way of living. I also have a very strong connection to the old culture of Egyptians, so I'm sure I was incarnated in that era also.

I always had an especially strong connection to stories/movies set in the Middle Ages and the Old West. In my early twenties I went to a psychic fair and had a past-life reading, and she said (without coaching from me) I had been a knight in the Middle Ages (died young) and a railroader's wife in Kansas during the late 1800's. I didn't like that second one, because Kansas is in the middle of the country and I was *sure* I'd lived in the Old West during the late 1800's! It was only two years later, on a drive up to Wyoming, that we went through Dodge City and I realized (duh) that Kansas WAS the Old West.
