This is extremely common. It happens because there is too much pressure in the body that may cause the muscles to contract and cause you to fart. Also cutting down on soda and dairy products may help a lot. Soda contains a lot of "gas-inducing" substances. Milk has something in it that may cause you to become bloated and make you extremely gassy.

I did! lol and I've heard of other women too being gassy. And i tell you what. Dont hold it in! We had people staying with us for a visit and the whole time they were here I would hold it in and finally I got such bad pains in my belly I thought I was going to have to go to the hospital. My I kept rubbing and it came out! lol

Yes. You have a tendency, especially toward the end, to run out of a lot of room in your abdomen, which means that less gas can stay in. Also, some foods make it worse like beans or broccoli.

Yup!! What's really bad is that when they get really far along and the baby rolls a certain way and it just comes out with no warning. That happened to me in lamaze class and I just played dumb. lol!!! It's really embarassing for women.
Sometimes, they get the "walkin' farts" too. lol!!! I guess that's one time you really want to stand BY your lady instead of behind her. : )

OH yeah, we're just a bunch of farting whoopie cushions. Are you serious? Tell you what, get off of the pregnancy forum and go back to your video game forum or wherever it is that you normally ask your "oh so funny" questions.

I sure did, with both kids. I never found a way to prevent it though. You just deal and hope no one is around when it happens. :)
