I was in your position a age 18. I was so baby crazy and I actually considered not going to college. I was going to get a job so that I could have a baby with my then boyfriend. I am now 25, married for a year and 9 weeks pregnant and SOOOO glad that I waited. I graduated college and both my husband and I have great jobs with great benefits. We own a home and are financially stable. Pregnancy is HARD! If you don't have a great support system and a solid way to take care of you and your baby it is only going to make it that much harder. Once your baby comes you dont want to struggle. Doesn't your baby deserve more than that? I know it is hard, but just keep reminding yourself of that. In the meantime, consider studying early childhood education, or get a job as a baby sitter or as a nanny. It will help you be a little less baby crazy :)

Okay, go to youtube and see if you can watch any birth videos. Plug your ears because mamas gonna scream. It hurts BAD!!
Hey, borrow a baby for a few hours. Better yet, keep one over night for someone.
Babies are great, but you've got to really REALLY be mature about it. They are real people not at all like getting a new puppy. You have do deal with it for the rest of you life. It's not like you can just dig out the recipt and take it back to the pet store or anything.
Just wait, live your life for awhile, and enjoy being young. Trust me, I was a teenage mom. I never expected to have all the respnsability I had so young. I kind of wish I'd seen more of the world first.

I am the same way, and I use to be too... Everyone always told me to wait, I never really wanted to, I am now 21, and know that I am ready. Graduated high school, went to college, got a great job, and I am ready for a child. You need to enjoy high school/college, dances, parties, school events such as football games, movie night with friends, gossip, drama, and school... It only last for a short period of time... then you have your entire life to have a baby, and be a Mom, but once your a Mom your always a Mom, and your life is only about that baby, not you anymore. All of your money, your time, your patience, your sleep too... Take time, have fun, babysit a lot, just wait!

Babysit. Hangout with moms that have kids. Some times dealing with kids and seeing how they act is a good method of birth control. Please if your too young to care for a child then don't have one they are more work than you could ever imagine. Finish school go to collage get a steady income than think about baby's.

dont have sex....use extram precautions if you *do* have sex...

Wanting a baby when you are very young and/or not at all ready for one is somethign that alotof girls/women go through.

I give you alot of credit for acknowledging that you are too young and not ready to have a baby! Good for you.

Just concentrate on bettering your life and havign fun right now. You will know for sure when you are ready, and if you are really young...it wont be for a long time!

Good luck!

Take up babysitting or volunteer at a daycare. That way you get your baby fix without having to ruin your life at such a young age♥

Sometimes babysitting for a little one works especially if they are the colicky or crying a lot. It worked for me a couple years ago when I really thought I wanted a baby but after babysitting for week end I knew I wasnt ready.

Work at a daycare center part time--if you are 16 or older. You get to be around babies and see what it's like to care for them.

hang out with someone you know that has a baby...or start babysitting. That should do the trick.
