Peyton Manning would make a great offensive coordinator and head coach.

Muhsin Muhammad is a great choice! Peyton Manning is also a good contender, i mean, he already calls his own plays, and Ray Lewis, he could definitely do it! All of these guys have alot of experience and are excellent players, and record-breakers! we'll be seing them in Canton some day! i think either of those guys would make a great choice, I would also think of Brett Favre, but if he's going to retire and his reasons are his family then i am doubting that!

I would say Ray Lewis would be a fine coach. I don't know if he would make a great HEAD coach but he would make a very good defensive coordinator.

I wouldn't think that Peyton Manning would be a very good coach. It's because he is a perfectionist, and is so excellent at what he does that he would never be able to accept anything less than what he did on the field. Obviously a player like Manning comes along once every 20 years or so, so he would be fighting a losing battle. It would be kind of like Michael Jordan being a head coach. He would make an awful head coach, not because he can't coach but he wouldn't be able to deal with the stresses of having a non-competitive team.

This is why most great coaches were not great players.

I would say someone like a John Lynch would make an excellent head coach. Not flashy but very solid player who knows his x's and o's and is first and foremost a team player.

Peyton Manning would be a terrible coach. He scowls and passes the buck all the time, he has benefitted from great receivers and a tremendous offensive line, not his brain. he is an exceptional QB, but not a thinker, not a leader. he'll lose tomorrow because he took all the money away from the salary cap and there is nothing to spend on the rush defense - No injuries - It is that way by infrastructure design.

Tom Brady wins, never blames teammates, adjusts, could care less of individual glory (probably didn't notice that he was snubbed for the Pro Bowl), takes the money he deserves, maybe less, but does not take it away from those potential teammates who help him win, adjusts his strategy every game to the opponent.

Peyton Manning knows how to lose the big one, Tom Brady know how to win. I guess it depends what you want out of a coach - To win or lose?

Peyton Manning no doubt. He already calls his own plays anyway. he is amazing. He basically is the coach of the colts. He is definitely the best choice of the three. Also Brett Favre. He's been in the game a looooong time. and he has pretty much seen it all. has a lot of experience. but i still would say my man peyton.!

Mark Brunell. A great pro on and off the field. He is a QB so he knows how to demand respect and seems as if he is a very easy person to talk to, which is what a coach needs to be. A very appealing person because of his ability to win and succeed even without great size or strength. Brunell is a winner, which would make him a great coach.

Peyton just seems like a people person, so I say he'll get along with the players well enough to coach them without seeming like a complete ***.
