If you honestly can't think of a reason to go to college, I suggest that you don't waste your time.

The question should be: what do you want to do with your life? If what you want to do requires college, go.

If what you want to do doesn't require college, or if you don't know what you want to do, consider that college will give you a broader perspective and will open up opportunities. On the other hand, going to college directly out of high school is not a requirement.

If you really want to be a carpenter (just to pick an occupation at random), you might try to get a job in that field for a while to see if you like it. If you don't, you can go to college later on.

You could also double-dip. Get a regular job and take some community college courses at night or on the weekends. In most cases the credits will transfer if you do decide to go to college and in any case it will give you a feel for what you might learn in college.

One last thing, going away to college does present opportunities as far as the "going away" part that are not to be discounted.
