Probably a thrift store, a flea market or maybe even a Salvation Army.

The Salvation Army is a good place to find vintage clothes. I found two Dooney Bourke Purses there for less than four dollars.
If you are good with color and style. You can pick out a nice couple of outfits there. Some clothes still have the price tags on them, never been used. Some have been worn and then cleaned.
I have found golf sweaters there, clothes from the dress barn. You should take a look, you will be surprised. And the money you pay for the clothes will help out some needy person too.

thrift stores!

crappy in some places, but cities sometimes have really cool thrift shops.

I have no clue where you live, but in St. Louis there's an area called the loop near WashU with some really cool shops.
