Has to be Tiger Woods. The way he played after his father died was just unbelievable. (Although you could easily throw Vince Young into the argument for leading Texas to a National Title, then taking a 2-6 Tennessee Titans to an 8-8 record after winning 5 straight games.)

Federer was dominant this year. No other tennis player has even been close to his success this year and he's still very young. Although wade was great and also tiger (after his dad's death), nobody dominated their sport the way federer did
