I might need a definition of emo...someone says that i'm emo-ish...i do listen to emo...Actually its all i ever listen to...but how do emo's dress and behave?

Emos wear band t-shirts, black sweatshirts, and jeans. They have short choppy hair cuts. they listen to bands like Escape The Fate, and Hawthorne Heights. They are usually depressed and some cut themselves. They feel like nobody cares, and that no body understands them. They usually have a small group of really close friends and are very anti-social.

There are many theories on this one. First off, emo is a type of music not a style but since you have labeled it such, the way to be emo: black and red, short, black hair. hate everything, be sad, cry a lot, lose interest in everything, cut yourself, hang out with other emo's. One word from an emo, don't do it because people say you are, do it because you really are emo, if you are. Nobody likes a poser

I'm emo and i wear skinny jeans and flats and i have my hair dyed orange and black and i have a hair covering my eyes and i wear glasses, i wear dark colors,i wear alot of bracelets and i don't cut my self like all the time and i am sometimes depressed.
but that's just me.emo don't dress a certain way u can be emo and dress in bright colors and always be happy it doesn't matter.

I think Emo is short for Emotional. Depressed sort of like Goth, but not really. I don't really get it.

Emo is a person/character who is sort of the punk scene and has the side bang. Emo is mostly known for one thing.... which is that he/she cuts their wrist and enjoys losing blood. AND when i meen cutting their wrist i meen CUTTING their wrist... with a sharp butcher knife most likly.

they all dress the same, skinny jeans, the flippy hair thing covering one of their eyes.....umm tight shirt....they act like everyone hates them and that they're depressed...stuff like that...and eyeliner...
