In a 2000 I30 or Maxima? Is it very hard? I can get the motor for 65 bucks, the dealer wants 411.00 plus tax.

I priced a used one online for 65 bucks shipped. The Control buttons are located in the maplight assembly. I have replaced that switch and it still didn't work.

It is a bit of a pain to replace the motor. It is located towards the front of the sunroof. you have to pull down the visors & remove the overhead console in order to lower the headliner to remove the bolts that hold it in place. The motor has a built in controller and it's expensive. Like $230. Does the replacement motor you have work ok? They used to have problems with those sunroof motors.
