Summer Internship Opportunities in St. Louis, MO Please!?

I am very interested in finding a summer internship in St. Louis, MO for this upcoming 07 summer. I am not having very much luck finding internships in fields that would be helpful for me in the future such as law, government, or policing. If anyone has any suggestions as to where I should look or any personal references or internships available that would be most helpful. Thanks so much!

you might want to contact local non-profits as well as they are often looking for volunteer-type help and may have relationships with local gov't agencies.
