Do you think that if someone throws a piece of your wedding cake to the dog your marriage will be miserable? and is it true that after the wedding you have to servive seven years of hardship before things turn for the better?

A marriage will survive on communication. Keep the lines of communication open and honest and it will do well. Remember it is a partnership. There need be no hardship if both sides work together. Love and respect are most essential in making a marriage successful. I never had a wedding cake or anything like that since my husband and I married quickly because he was in the Marine Corps, but more than 12 years later we are still together and very very happy. We talk about our marriage at least a few times a week and daily ask how the other is. We care for each other and do whatever the other needs to be happy. Communication, respect, love and being there for each other will make a happy marriage!

NO that is not true, a successful marriage depends on both spouses. A good communication would the best thing to have between you two and understanding, honesty and trust and love as well. Don't believe in that stupidity, successful marriage depends on the couple but not some other people who don't know much about how you feel about each other and etc.... One more thing marriage life is not just about having sex. Most marriage that base there life on sex don't last very long.

If it is chocolate cake the marriage will start off bad. Chocolate is poisonous to dogs. The dog will die.
