Is this generation of Hollywood women the most reckless ever?

When you look at highly publicized stars like Britney, Paris, Lohan, Nicole and many more, you would think that they are highly paid anorexic, drug taking, shameless, unapologetic and provocative. Don't they understand that the purpose of their publicity is because they are always doing things that put to the brink of self-destruction or worthlessness? Don't they understand that they represent many negative things about women?

They are on a grand stage and the very young in the public usually mimic what they see on this stage. Women have struggle so much for centuries, yet these women are trying to bring the next generation back centuries by making them look worthless. What degrading and unremorseful behavior.

I think they just don't care!! They don't realize how hard women are having to work to be noticed.
I'm not sure if it's that they don't care or that they don't KNOW that they are being reckless and setting a horrible example for young ladies. If you think about it, they aren't exactly the smartest bunch of grapes, now are they? But then again, they do have "some" smarts because they are able to manipulate the press and the public as well as the cops and judges into keeping out of trouble for the most part. I mean look at paris, after all those tickets, she hasn't exactly spent a lot of time in jail. Same thing for Nicole R.

In this day and age, most of these actresses and actors ARE the role models for young women and men, because a lot of parents are single 2 job having parents, or single parents that work 12-14 hour shifts. You don't see a lot of parents being able to be stay at home parents anymore!

I think if more parents were able to be better role models for their children, then the children wouldn't be looking up to people like Paris, Britney, Lindsey and Nicole, because the parents would be around to make sure they don't do anything that involves them watching or listening to anything of theirs!

I'm not saying that blocking a child from tv or radio is going to stop them from being influenced by these people, but I am saying, they might be a little bit LESS influcened by them.

If you think about it, its really NOT these girls faults that they are the "bad role models" for the children, it is in fact the MEDIAS fault. the photographers the news the writers etc... If these people weren't so blood thirsty for what we call trash, and what they call a "paycheck" then we wouldn't have to deal with young women and men seeing all this negative crap in the news.

They are worthless and wasteless. Britney, Paris, Lindsay, and Nicole truly haven't done any good for the nation. All they did to get famous was strip down to a sexy pair of lingerie, work that thing, and party out late. I think that's basically all they did, then people started tuning in, the teen guys. They couldn't get enough of these adult ruins. Lindsay's twenty years old and I feel that she'll never grow up. I thought she was merely seventeen when I saw her recent pictures, but then I was reminded that she was twenty. Who is she to agree with portraying a stripper in the movie, I Know Who Killed Me, right? I believe it's due to come out sometime soon, the exact date is unknown, by the way. All Nicole did to spark attention was stop eating and show her sick body to the entire planet so she could headline herself in every popular fashion magazine. Britney and Paris simply didn't do anything, they just stuck as a pair and went out late partying, to make sure they caught an eye. That was really uncalled for and made a damper on Brit's planned comeback. Oh, well. They got what they wanted and at least Britney's attempting to clean up. I guess Richie is too, at least trying. That's all we can ask for, and as for Lohan and Hilton, they'll stay the same.

Dena, My guess, and its only a guess... is that they simply do not care... life might be about having fun, and aspiring to good things isn't nearly as easy as degrading one's self. Fun is easy, exibiting no morals is simple, and full of instant gratification... remember the old saying, 'good things come to those that wait.' no need to wait if u have more money than Midas. They can do whatever they want for the instant gratification, plus they get the added bonus of men and women soaking up everything they do. Don't you think they simply love / hate the attention... they can take it and leave it. whenever they choose. Doesn't matter that they continue the old stereotypes of women as sex objects, they seem to really like that too. As a guy, I kind of do too, on a lower level, they are attractive, so like so many of us, I kind of soak it in a tiny bit, but I also look for so much more in a woman. They are seen as what they represent themselves as, objects... not as a beautiful intelligent woman, which is something I truly want, not what they are. So, the short answer, I think they do hurt women in general, but in reality, they may not, for their actions truly are unreal for most of us. We live seeking better things, if that makes sense.

Yes! These women have no class, no manners, are selfish, and have no morals! They are representing the worst in women and are unfortunately putting it on a public stage! Britney's really bad since she is supposed to be somebody's mother and is acting like a tramp gone wild. Those boys will be so embarassed about their mother's behavior when they get older! Someone needs to reign her in (mother, manager, etc) before she destroys herself. All these women will destroy themselves with their reckless behavior and are horrible role models for young girls.

My superb pal/neighbor has a 3ft deep canal in her pasture so final summer season she and that i took our horses swimming in it..... we've been bareback no helmets and that i became donning a bikini and turn flops - not considered one of those super thought. I hadn't ridden my horse in over a month so she became very hyper and for some reason there became a goose's nest appropriate with the aid of have been we've been swimming and he or she have been given incredibly mad at my horse. Then my horse comes to a decision to freak out and he or she is incredibly working in the process the water i attempted to tug back on her yet I basically had a snaffle in so as that did not do lots good. nicely she jumps out of the canal and techniques you it incredibly is at an attitude (at as quickly as up and down) and that i slide to her butt. Now she is working finished blast around the pasture i'm sitting on her rear without administration in besides (I have not have been given any thought how I stayed on) Then my dogs starts off chasing her and he or she is going around a pointy turn I fly off and land on my butt (you think of which would be humorous nicely i became harm noticeably undesirable and that i could not even upward push up for greater or less 10 minutes.) seems I had harm my backbone or tail bone noticeably undesirable and because i became not often donning any clothing all the burrs and cheat grass and weeds that have been interior the pasture scraped me up noticeably badly end: do not trip in canals and in case you do use a water data cordura saddle and consistently positioned on a helmet and proper clothing! - haha desire you like that one Oh and yet over back I raced my barrel horse by contrast one stupid adult adult males incredibly previous van - I won! because of the fact the van became gradual and we've been basically going to the tip of the line - unhappy i comprehend haha
