the i pod is pretty simple and easy but if you got the zen you'de get used to it fast, its actually not that hard to work. you could go with the i pod if you wanted somthing that is generally more popular but the nano is going to go out soon and they are going to make something else. i suggest you get the zen, it might be more reliable.

generally shuffle yet in specific circumstances specific artists or specific genres BQ: have not asked one this 12 months BQ2: Omg heck specific. i've got written out long special solutions then as quickly as I click publish, comes up with a yahoo blunders message then whilst i am going lower back that is been resolved >.< BQ3: not this 12 months, i've got have been given a **** load of bands that i got here across final 12 months yet my computer crapped out final 12 months so have lost all my downloaded music so might desire to attempt and get all of them lower back by using itunes or determining to purchase the cds. BQ4: rather sturdy extremely :) BQ5: not something :o

I like my iRiver sychs effortlessly with WMP10 ...iPODS are pretty and all the rage but the territorial bs that iTunes insists on is unforgiveable....an mp3player plays mp3s the poorest audio compression available....wma is a lil better...sure the ogg and flac compressions sound better but if you dont have decent headphones its a wash anyways...if you love music like me spend your $ on a good home audio setup....mp3 players are portable no one needs 80gis of music while they are shoppin for groceries... SanDisk Sansa e260 Cowon iAudio 6 iriver H10 get my votes

Go with the IPOD. you already have one so the transition won't be hard from a shuffle to a nano.
