I think lots of guys (me included) find a girl's interest in astronomy pretty attractive.

No more geeky than a guy that's into astronomy. But as long as the couple share some interests, they don't have to share all. My wife went with me to a star party on Mt. Pinos, where shortly after sundown ice had formed on the top of the car. I had my love of the stars to keep me warm -- didn't even have my field jacket zipped. She huddled under a sleeping bag in the car and still froze. She doesn't go to star parties any more, but we're still happily married.

I don't see why guys wouldn't be interested in a girl just because she likes astronomy. Nothing is ever too GEEKY. We all have different passions and things we love and no one should ever judge us for that. And if they, then they're not worth your time. Just be yourself and love yourself for who you are. When you have that inner confidence, guys will love you for it, because they can see that your happy with who you are.

it is not geeky. not to me anyway...i'm a girl and i'm into astronomy! it's very interesting and surely there will be a guy who IS into astronomy.i know there is.

from your question I'm guessing you're very young...
remember one important thing!!!:
you can have as many interests as you wish... astronomy, biology,history, books,music or whatever... if a guy will refuse to date or in your words "get into a girl " because of that he wants only one thing and HE DOESN'T WORTH IT!!!
you need a guy that will love you for who you are!!! he doesn't have to love astronomy but he has to respect the fact that you do!!!
and one last thing astronomy ROCKS!!

Of course, yes.
I once attended a lecture on Mars exploration at Harvey Mudd University (that's about as scientific and nerdy as it gets!), and I thought that the brilliant but slightly nerdy gals there were enchanting! But I like smart women.

Of course they can. My husband thinks it's really sweet when I tell him about stars and constellations. We even watched the Geminids meteor shower together. I kind of like being a nerd. If he can't like you beacuse of that one thing, then he's the one that is going to miss out on an intelligent woman.

probably more astronomy geek guys than girls!!! all sorts of people in this world that will be into all sorts of people! just hang out, be yourself and someone will be out there!
