Do you think that there are people here that make up terrible stories just to catch attention?

do you know any particular persons that do so?

sometimes i read some stories that i cannot believe they are true
because they are so so so terrible
eg. children that get beat up hard by their parents
do u thinl that most of them are true or not?

I think there's going to be a percentage of fake or exaggerated "questions" on here, yes. I'm sure some very creative people have active imaginations and sadly, no other outlet but Yahoo Answers.

I do think that some of the stories on here are made up to get attention, but then again some of the sad stories are probably true. It's hard to tell but some of the more outrageous ones I find hard to believe.

i like to believe that someone isn't cruel enough to make up something like that. but yes i believe that some people (with there being thousands here) make up some stories just to grab people's attention. no i don't know of any that do it but i've seen some questions that looked fake. don't think that just becuz the situation is terrible means it's unreal. some of these things REALLY DO happen to kids. children get physically and verbally abused every day! that's not something that's "unreal" or something that's "unbelievable" cuz it happens quite a bit.

Of course the stories are probably untrue. This is actually like a game....some may be real others are looking for a good time or laugh

the trick is to weed them out...

eye said weed... moksweed ... lol...the truth must be searched for... but remember that to much of any one thing is not good for anyone...
