This is Honda's only real weak spot; the distributor.
All of the components for ignition are inside. They are somewhat fragile and tend to fail as a result of long life or ANY sort of abuse (cranking without the plugs connected etc) or if the coolant has contaminated the distributor or connections.
This is the classic signs of a failed distributor.
Purchase a rebuilt distributor from a reputable QUALITY parts store, install and adjust the timing according to the the manufacturer's recommendations and instructions.

Happy Motoring

It takes 3 issues for an engine to run; gasoline, spark, and compression(we are able to assume there is sufficient air/oxygen for combustion). You did no longer say what proportion miles have been on the engine, yet as we talk's autos in many situations final a protracted time. i like the place you're going with the gasoline pump relay and it somewhat is a bad electric powered connection, distinctly in the journey that your motor vehicle is subjected to highway salt interior the wintertime. undesirable or corroded floor twine connections are additionally a threat as is a tank of undesirable gasoline. i could advise which you purchase a $20 Haynes restore handbook(available at most of the chain motor vehicle aspects shops) and use their diagnostic steps to slender down the priority. i'm no longer genuine conscious of Hondas, yet have 2 Subies and a Corolla interior the fleet, yet no initiate subjects in many situations are no longer form-particular. good success
