Have just seen Casino Royale (twice infact) and I think its one of the best Bond films I have ever seen!
Although I have seen it twice can anyone recommend a site where they actually give a detailed explanation of the film?
As there are parts I did not understand?
Many thanks all

In the current Casino Royale James is played by Daniel Craig and in the original version (1967) was a spoof James Bond movie starring David Niven.

Try this for a link to a film site for Casino Royale: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0381061/
I loved it, haven't liked a Bond film for such a long time, until this one. Craig was great in the action, as well as with the character he built himself, re-invented it for me. If you do go ahead and read the book, be prepared for a very old fashioned look at women and the men, Fleming was very old school, and was the very first Bond book. Not quite what you may expect, which the film has taken artistic licence with. Good luck

my brain was trying to make me think it was good ,only because a let down viewing couldn't be coped with .it wasn't a James bond film. it was a very good spy movie. if they didn't say it was casino royal, and took the bond mannerisms out of graigy it would of took the expection out of the film and enjoyed it more.

I didn't think it was that good....at least Roger Moore and Sean Connery added a bit of humour into the role.

.....and the bit where the girl comes out of the Casino and spots that a wire has come out of his heart monitor, and immediately knows where to put it, was just farcical! My wife can't wire a plug.....let alone sort out a sophsiticated piece of equipment like that!

This wasn't my favorite Bond movie, but it's probably cause I like Pierce Brosnan so much better! But you might like to check this page out:
