I think if anyone knew the answer to this, they would't be telling.

I think a better approach is to have several people pray for your case. I mean assuming God is operating on a windows platform with a limited bandwidth, it's the only way your going to be heard.

I always pray throughout the day. I just talk to God in my head mostly. I see results all the time. I don't always see results or see results right away. It has to be in his will and in his time. I do see results almost daily, it may not be from what I prayed for today. It may have been from something I prayed for months ago, or years ago, or yesterday. I pray for people I see on the street sometimes. I may see someone walking on the sidewalk or on a roof and feel compelled to pray for their safety and don't know why and don't even know them. Once I woke up at 2 in the morning and was told to pray for my brother, so I did.

For me, praying is just like talking to God, on a daily basis. I tell him when I am angry or sad or ask him to heal or help someone and sometimes to help me with my anger or give me strength. I have to thank him for what he does help me with too. I do lose things and frequently have to have him help me find it. I usually do within 10 minutes of asking for his help.

Well, first get in a quiet place, in your bedroom, or whatever, and really open your heart out to God. Confess your sins and feelings. Remember that it is not about what you say, it is how you truly feel when you say it. Pour your heart out, He has the rest of your life to hear what you have to say, so don't rush. And then ask, with a genuine heart. But you have to show your desire for what you want. And it could take that one time or many times. And even if you think it hasn't been answered, it may have been in a way you never thought. And always praise!!!

I'd have to go with quit thumping the bible and realize that there is no superior being in control of your destiny. Realizing that the bible is nothing more than a book of fairy tales and the idea of faith is nothing more than a ploy for money was the best thing that ever happened to me. I quit praying and believing in things that seem un-realistic and my life has improved greatly.

As for getting pregnant, try fertility testing for you and your man and if you are both statistically able to have children, keep trying. Some women have problems getting pregnant if they have just stopped using birth control. It takes a bit of time with some people. Keep trying, its fun!!

To get results, one must pray to the appropriate provider. example: If you want ice, put in some water and pray to the freezer. You will get ice.

while you are praying always keep it in your mind that God is looking at you , he is there to listen you and to care you, remember he is the only one who can solve your problem so, pray with high passion with also the thought that God will listen your prays.Concentrate over your prays.
While praying always praises God.Don't rush and don't ask anything impossible or anything bad for others.
Best of luck

You're right, your question does sound stupid.

You want someone to tell you how to get God to give you the things you want? How would anyone know the answer to that?

Or do you think Jesus checks the Yahoo! Web board from time to time and would give you some insight?

you don't pray for materialistic things, prayer is used to get through difficult times, you can pray as much as you want, God's ALWAYS listening, and it's not like you can get results he changes things very slightlyso you don't really know he helped at all, and don't blame him for things, that's satins work....GOD LOVES YOU

Pray with your heart not your words.
You can pray all you want but you also have to firmly believe in what you are praying for and who you are praying to.
To just say please God help me but not give him the belief to help you isnt going to work

If you're praying to get results, you don't have enough faith and too much self-interest. If you're looking to get pregnant and nothing has worked, try adoption.
