There is a great richness of experience and spiritual joy in what can be visualized throughout our world and throughout all of existance and life itself. Material wealth can be obtained in a rapidly widening variety of ways in our society. However, the view of the ocean at sunset, the smile of the Mona Lisa, the awe inspiring images of various nebulae rendered by Hubble, or even just the humbling joy I feel to see my beautiful baby girl smile into my eyes-- there is absolutely no amount of gold or currency that can buy such experiences away from my life. Such treasures already make me an enviously rich man. I'll just have to rely on old fashioned smarts and elbow grease to become wealthy. I just wonder what I'll see getting there!

Sighted and poor, what good is being rich and blind? You can't enjoy what you have since you can't see it. Now if you're talking metaphorically than sometimes that is parallel, those that are rich seem to be blind to the world around them or what is really important in life.

Good question. Lets see. Since I am blind and poor, I would have to say sighted and poor. I can handle being poor, but if given a wish, I would ask for my sight back.
