they do thats just the sterotypical zombie

Well, the only way to kill a zombie is to remove the head or destroy the brain. I imagine they go after brains as a survival function. They know that destroying the brain is fatal, so if their kind is to survive, they must destroy the brain of whatever is trying to kill them. It is economical, then, for them to feed on the brains of whatever is trying to kill them (usually live humans). Kill two birds with one stone, so to speak.

Cause they don't have any...but they do go for other body parts, intestines are particularly yummy for them.
