Your mucus plug will also have some bloody show in it as well. Although it sounds like you are reaching your time to delivery is does not sound like it will happen very soon. Look for that bloody show, then it will happen in a matter of hours or at least labor will start. Your doctor will better advise you as to when he or she wants you at the hospital but call them when contractions are about ten minutes apart and lasting a little more than a minute or if they increase in intensity. But most important trust your instincts, if something does not feel right at all say something your instincts will generally be right. All doctors want you to make it at least to 36 weeks to let the baby's lungs develope as much as possible so you are not to far off from that so even if you deliver early you should still be safe. Good luck and congratualtions.

It sounds like it could be your mucous plug. I started losing mine at around the same time in my pregnancy and continued to lose it until right around 39 weeks. In the end it it began to also have a pinkish tint to it (blood). I never had a large discharge, which can also happen. Some loese it pieces by piece, others in large amounts. Though I was less effaced than you are at this time, I was about 20%, I went a day after my due date. Hopefully for you though you'll go earlier - I remember those last couple of weeks were killers! Just remember to get as much rest as you can now because once the baby comes you won't see much sleep for quite some time. Good luck!

Yes, that is your mucous plug. It could mean that you may have the baby early, but it doesn't mean you'll give birth right away. It does seem like you will have the baby early, but don't freak out. Unless you start having serious contractions (that are consistent and don't stop after an hour of drinking lots of water while laying down) or have any other symptoms that are alarming, I wouldn't worry too much. I had my first at 36 weeks, and she was perfectly healthy. (Although the reason I gave birth early was b/c I developed pre-eclampsia) My second I delivered at 38 weeks (also perfectly healthy). 38-40 weeks is considered full term, so that would be even better if you could make it that far. Good luck! Just in case, I would make sure you start packing that hospital bag!

Honey, this could be your mucus plug or just general discharge.
You could have the baby today or in 5 weeks.
It all depends, and we only have our personal experiences to go on.
But at almost 36 weeks, your baby will be fine. He's fully developed by now, all he's waiting for is a little more weight to keep him warm. If the doctor that has a clue isn't concerned about premature birth, then it's probably nothing abnormal.
If you're really worried about it, call your doctors right now. You're paying their salaries, you deserve to have your questions answered.

I lost my mucus plug at 32 weeks, and started to dilate at about 35 weeks.....I was 4 days OVER due when they induced me. The mucus plus and even dilating doesn't really mean anything. My friend lost her mucus plug like 27 weeks (she paniced and went to the hospital and they told her what it was and sent her home) she delivered like 3 days before her due date, that was it. You may not see your due date, but it's nothing to worry about. RELAX it's much better for the baby! Good Luck!!

ok this sounds loopy coming from a 15 3 hundred and sixty 5 days previous yet my mom merely went throughout the comparable factor like 5 months in the past. your midwife is stable. merely because of the fact which you lost the plug would not propose anythings incorrect or that youre going into exertions. some women bypass into exertions as much as approximately 3 weeks after thevye lost it and a few dont lose til top earlier. no vast deal. and congradulations!!

Well I am 31 weeks and 1 day and I have been losing my mucous plug over the last few weeks. It comes in pieces. I have heard that once you have lost your mucous plug labor is anywhere from now till 4 weeks away. You could have your baby early but there is no sure way to tell, good luck!

You should probably call your Doctor, the one that does have a clue! Don't be scared, I had my little girls at 26 weeks, she was 100% formed and is now a beautiful, smart 8 year old.

There is nothing you can do so don't worry about it. You'll know when you start having contractions or when you loose your water. Just be ready for an early date in case it comes.
