OH HONEY. .. please listen to me!!! I was RIGHT WHERE YOU ARE 5 years ago, after the birth of my 3rd child. I was put on zoloft, and they had to adjust the amount, then it was changing from one drug to another! In 18 months I was on 6 different meds! It SCREWED me up, and I gained weight! 8-10 pounds after each new med! That's right, I gained SIXTEY pounds, while still being 20 pounds over beucase of 'baby' weight.

My advice is this. . .it seems wellbutrin just isn't doing it. I know you can't self diagnose yourself, and I can't either, but Lexapro is working for me. It's working for MANY people I know. My dr said that it's a very good med to start out on. Now, I was on celexa in my bout of med switching, and that one worked well. Celexa is Lexapro's 'sister' drug (i'm quoting my dr.) Celexa has a generic form available, Lexapro does not. I'm on lexapro and I am NOT looking to go off it any time soon. My insurance covers it. Look up info on lexapro and celexa and I think you'll see that it's safe and I REALLY urge you to ask your dr about it. Realize that it take 2-6 weeks for your body to 'peak' at the level with these drugs, but try to not get in the loop of switching from zoloft to prozac, to effexor to paxil. .. etc etc etc.

GOOD LUCK. . .

also, sometimes I look back and wonder if I should've waited to see if the postpartum would ride itself out. . .after my first two were born I went through the 'blues' but was ok. That's just my thoughts about me, though. I always wonder. . .

Get a second opinion. Not everyone reacts to anti-depressants the same way. I had no luck with wellbutrin or paxil or zoloft. Finally I found Cymbalta and it works very well. Maybe a new doctor will have a different opinion on what you need. Hang in there, I know it difficult but you'll find the right meds.

If he would not such as you for your self then perhaps you're barking up the incorrect tree. It hurts to hearken to, yet i'm helpful it additionally hurts feeling not enjoyed an ignored such as you're. do not replace who you're to get him to word, regardless of if something does spark between you, it will consistently be on fake pretenses. fairly, discover something which you do superb and are pleased with - then make certain a thank you to have him see it (do only not come off as desperate or contrived). If he's your pal, you will possibly be able to desire to flat out ask him what he thinks, it will enable him comprehend which you fee his opinion and elect him to word. human beings are attracted to hobby - no remember if it is for music, portray, technological understanding, examining, or the rest. tutor your actual colours.

You need to tell your doctor your concerns. And if that doesn't work then switch doctors. Good Luck. And don't take the 450mg. I'm not a doctor and even I know that something isn't right there.
