i've wanted to model quite some time after my sister mentioned having interest in it. i don't want it to seem like i'm copying her, though, which i'm not. what should i do? should i just wait? or not do it at all?

sorry. its called middle/younger child syndrome. no matter what you do your family will accuse you of copying. i saw it happen with my two little sisters and dancing. in time the better you get at it, the more people will respect you for your individual talent. hang in there and do what your heart wants, regardless of what people say. its a great opportunity dont let it slip away.

If you want to model, go for it! If your sister hasn't started yet, then you aren't copying. I here models make big $$$ on the runway once you are a professional........

Sister can tend to have similiar styles, tastes and interests. It's not that you're copying her, it's just that you guys are sisters.

If you want to model then do it. Your sister should be flattered that you want to follow in her foot steps. Alot of agencies like to have photo shoots with sisters. I think it would bring you both closer. You'd certainly have alot in common......

i always feel exactly the same way!! (even though it's not about modeling.) if you really and truly do want to model, then your sister shouldn't stop you. however, think about it seriously before you go ahead...it might be just a temporary fancy, who knows?

go for it!
i'm sure your sister won't mind, or maybe you could it together.
besides, if she accuses you of copying her, you could say you look up to her as a role model.
always works with me

I would go for it. I mean its not like shes actually doing it. But if you think its going to bother her then just tell her that your interested in it to.

MY ADVICE IS TO SUGGEST THAT YOU TWO DO IT TOGETHER. MAKE IT A PROJECT THAT WILL BRING YOU CLOSER TOGETHER. DON'T LET IT PULL YOU APART.
