how do u beat the water guy at hollow bastion on kingdom hearts 2?

He's tough. I beat him yesterday and it took me a while, the water forms can be difficult. He'll use the water forms three-four times in battle so use the reaction command. Attack one, use reaction, the key is speed and luck.

When fighting him, come with plenty of ethers and hi-potions (or potions) and attack him, when he summons water (not the time limits ones) attack him with them and strike. Heal OFTEN. When he only has one bar left switch to drive mode and use wisdom form and keep moving and hit him. If you still have trouble, keep practicing and level up by 2-3 more levels. He's one of the harder bosses, but just remember, reactions, dodgeing and heal often and drives.

I assume you have problems fighting the water clones.
When he does it the second time go into valor form and start attacking, use reaction commands when they appear but if there are three seconds left, don't use it. It's difficult I know. So if you continue to have troble try leveling up Sora and the Valor form.
