I don't know...i mean, it seems like a lot of people these days have tatoos...but I've always thought that they looks really trashy on girls, and that on guys its just doesn't look that attractive. Especially old people with tatoos, where the skin is all flabby *yuck*.

I don't hate them, but they're completely un-neccessary.
They do more to detract from someones appearance than enhance it. Tattoos are merely intentional blemishes. And you know what blemish means right :

Tattoos eventually will be like a millstone around your neck . Maybe now you think they are cool. However, as time passes and you keep looking at that same piece of bad art , you begin to see just how lousy it was to do that. There is never a reprieve. To have it taken off is very expensive, but I figure when you get sick of it badly enough, there is no price too high to get rid of it . And sick of it you will . Picture yourself as an older person with that faded rose on your boobs or butt and you know what I mean.If by chance you become professional in life and have a respectful job, then 'ya better wear a cover up. Nobody will believe you when they see the bad choice you made once.
Enough already. I hope you have NOT done it already .

I think it depends on the person. I consider myself to be a very respectable young lady. I do have three tattoos. But I also have them in places that can be covered very easily. I got them for my on personal belief. I didn't get them to show them off to everybody. I am very happy with the choice that I made. Some girls do get them places where it can be "trashy," but that's their choice. But I love my tattoos!

Sorry if I offend anyone, but when I see a girl with a tattoo, I have one automatic response, SLUT. Especially if it's near the lower regions, if you catch my meaning. I would never date a girl with one. Then again, I'm Amish so...

Tats are a form of expression,they reflect ur personality.I have a butterfly tattoo.It's purple with wonderful wings..it's totally me:independent,free,dynamic,cute.A tattoo should represent who u really are beneath the surface.I find them quite intimate.

I agree. It's not really feminine for a girl to get tatoos because what kind of girl would be able to stand pain like that. Plus usually girls want to keep their skin looking good not written on.

it depends what tattoos we are talking about...if you have a small nice tattoo, a small symbol or so...then it could be OK, but big tattoos or more than one, are really gross, i agree!

I think tattoos are totally a waste of skin and so are pairings. (except for on your ears lol) I think tattoos are UGLY...

Hi Princess, Dido on that one..Plus seeing someone take out their false teeth and clean them with a tooth-pick at a dinner table..My tummy gets very upset and i want to throw-up..I truly hate that!!! Your Friend, poppy1
