I like the fact that you haven't said it has to be an album you got in 2006 as it takes a few months to get some released and for you to listen to them.
Would probably have to say Black Holes and Revelations by Muse, followed by Through the Windowpane by the Guillemots, Empire by Kasabian, Wolfmother by Wolfmother, Show your bones by the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, 12 Stops and Home by the Feeling, Under the Iron Sea by Keane from 2006.
From previous years but listened to loads this year, Eye to the Telescope by KT Tunstall, The Debt Collection by the Shortwave Set, Aqualung by Aqualung, Best of Basement Jaxx, Absolution by Muse and Talkie Walkie by Air.
